RedStream is recruiting for a Communications Administrator to work with the Healthcare and Life Sciences communications team to assist managing team administration, internal processes, vendor management, and aspects of event planning / coordination.
The person in this role will be responsible for updating and tracking the team’s communications activities which includes developing and maintaining a calendar of external events, collecting outcome of initiatives for documentation and reporting, organizing and updating the team’s virtual knowledge and activity repository, and managing the team calendar, inbox, and mailing list.
In addition, the role includes supporting the production of internal communications which includes newsletters and reporting in a range of formats. Supporting administrative tasks related to the team’s external presence such as managing and submitting website requests.
Other responsibilities may include the onboarding, coordination and management of vendors and support event management activities; processing invoices, tracking budgets, organizing bookings, and any ad hoc requests.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- 1+ years of relevant professional experience with event planning, database management and communications, in a professional service or other B2B environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently, with precision
- Demonstrated project management and execution experience, with excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to get things done quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including clear and concise writing
- Excellent stakeholder management; with the ability to work across all levels of seniority and geographies, cultivating trust-based, peer-counsellor relationships
- Entrepreneurial, collaborative attitude, with interest and aptitude for working as part of a global team, across countries and cultures
