Agile Project Manager

Contract Role, Remote

RedStream Technology is recruiting for an experienced Agile Project Manager.  We are looking for someone with skills in communication and collaboration, experience leading successful data management implementations and aligning the project goals with the business objectives.

Skills

  • Experience leading the end-to-end implementation of data management projects, from initiation to closure, with management of project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Employ an outcome-oriented approach to defining project goals and success criteria
  • Ability to manage cross-functional project teams, including internal resources and external vendors, ensuring efficient resource allocation and effective utilization
  • Employ an agile mindset, espousing transparency, continual improvement and customer centricity
  • Expertise in facilitating scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-up meetings, sprint review and retrospectives
  • Experience leading through influence without direct reporting lines
  • Possesses advanced customer service skills to support senior-level executive stakeholders
  • Experience leading high-visibility cross-functional technical projects
  • Experience working with and bridging the gap between internal teams and external implementation partners keeping the project on time and on budget
  • Expert reporting and escalation/visibility capabilities [project metrics/dashboards/status/etc
  • Practical experience working with multiple project management methodologies including at least one of the following: Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall
  • Working with any project management organizational or visualization tools; examples could be Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, SmartSheet, Wrike, or Rally
  • Experience scheduling projects by breaking down large plans into smaller tasks
  • Ability to lead technical conversations and work with teams to prioritize work based on value delivered, and highlight risks to delivery and support of a product
  • Skills to work with business and technology stakeholders to understand and document objectives and requirements, translate technical requirements and solutions into business language and back
  • Disciplined in project management domains including risk management, stakeholder engagement, change management and quality assurance
  • Managing the flow of information to all stakeholders of the project from sponsors to users impacted
  • Experience developing, maintaining and distributing (as appropriate) standard project management deliverables including: requirements, project schedules, issues & action items log, and meeting minutes
  • Remove impediments for the team to execute on work
  • Experience leading master data management, data governance, and/or data quality projects

Nice to have:

  • Extensive knowledge of data management systems (e.g., Informatica, Reltio, Infosphere) and related technologies
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
  • Experience participating in both front office and information technology teams

Qualifications

  • Prior positions as either a Project Manager or Scrum Master
  • Optional certifications are a plus: Certified Scrum Master (or equivalent), Project Management Professional or other related certification
