DevOps AWS Cloud Engineer

RedStream Technology is recruiting for a skilled and experienced DevOps AWS Cloud Engineer to work with our global enterprise client. As a DevOps AWS Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines on the AWS cloud platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud-based systems' reliability, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS cloud platform.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment and release management.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture and performance on AWS.
  • Configure and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ECS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Monitor system health and performance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and network access control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Strong Terraform Development skills using AWS services Git /Github expert with branching expertise
  • Very good knowledge about Dockers, CI/CD pipeline build.
  • Strong Python developer
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in DevOps roles, with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with AWS services and infrastructure components.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with VPC, VPN, and subnets.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security controls on AWS.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
  • Terraform expertise to build CI/CD pipelines using it Git actions and Github expertise to build Git action deployment workflows to deploy AWS services like Glue, Lamba, MWAA
  • Expertise in Python and shell scripting, yaml and jinja2 templates to build github actions workflows
  • Expertise in Git to develop and manage Github branching using custom as well as industrywide followed trunk based models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
