IT Business Analyst

• Remote (working East Coast hours)

RedStream Technology is recruiting for an IT Business Analyst to join our client’s IT team focused on Finance and HR related systems and data systems. 

The Business Analyst will be the vital link between the client’s information technology capacity and business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of software products.

Responsibilities:

• Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
• Perform quality assurance
• Define reporting and alerting requirements
• Help document and maintain system processes

Skills:  

• Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
• Extensive track record in QA for large-scale cloud, big data and analytics implementations in complex usage scenarios and migration paths
• Experience with API management, Microservices, Event-driven architectures and complex integrations

Education:        

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
