More than 20 years ago, while working in a completely different industry, John was recruited for what he thought was a software sales position. During the interview, the owner said, “We don’t sell software…we sell people solutions.” That conversation sparked a career he never saw coming, and he’s been helping companies solve hiring challenges ever since.
What keeps John passionate after more than two decades? It’s simple: he loves solving problems. Every conversation with a hiring manager is like putting together a puzzle. Understanding their challenges, finding the missing piece, and introducing the right person who helps move the business forward, that’s what makes the job exciting.

He’s always experimenting with new recipes, but if you ask him where he’s happiest, it’s standing behind his Blackstone grill, cooking steak and chicken hibachi. Cooking isn’t just a hobby; it’s one of his favorite ways to spend time with family and friends. John lives in northern New Jersey with his wife, their three kids, and Henry, the family’s lovable teddy bear dog who’s always nearby hoping something falls off the grill.
When he’s not recruiting or cooking, you’ll likely find him on the golf course, enjoying time outdoors, or grabbing dinner at TAO in New York City or his longtime favorite neighborhood spot, Brady’s, where the nostalgia is just as good as the food.
