Marketing Analytics Engineer
Hybrid/ Nashville, TN
6-month Contract

The Marketing Analytics Engineer will support the Digital Marketing team through data analysis, reporting automation, system integrations, and marketing technology operations.

This role will work across multiple platforms in the marketing technology stack to improve data quality, streamline processes, and deliver actionable insights for marketing and event programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain SQL-based reports and dashboards for marketing campaigns, webinars, and event programs.
  • Build and support Python-based automation and reporting solutions.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and document REST API integrations between marketing platforms and internal systems.
  • Perform data quality assurance, validation, and reconciliation across marketing and analytics platforms.
  • Support onboarding and testing of new vendor data feeds and integrations.
  • Assist with marketing operations workflows, including lead management, attribution, and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Document processes, integrations, and technical specifications.
  • Build and support data pipelines, including data ingestion, normalization, and integration using Python and SQL.
  • Perform ad-hoc systems integrations, platform enhancements, and "data detective" work to investigate and resolve data issues across systems.
  • Support SQL-based data integration projects, particularly during the first 90 days, while working with Snowflake and other data platforms.

Requirements:

  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of database best practices.
  • Experience developing scripts and automation using Python.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and integration troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data validation, QA, and reporting methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in data, analytics, engineering, or a related technical field.
