Digital Operations Supervisor — Live Sports Streaming
On-site, Secaucus, NJ
12 month Contract, with potential renewal

Rate: $50/hour
Schedule: 3 PM–11 PM, Monday- Sunday (needs to be flexible, each week is subject to change)

We are seeking an experienced Digital Operations Supervisor to lead live digital operations for a nationally recognized professional sports league.

This role oversees the real-time delivery and quality of live sports content across web, mobile and connected-device platforms, with a strong focus on live game monitoring, incident management, escalation and operational improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead nightly live game and streaming operations, including monitoring, manual interventions and issue escalation.
  • Own critical incident response during live events, coordinating troubleshooting, escalation, documentation and resolution across internal teams and vendors.
  • Supervise and schedule Level 1 Digital Operations team members, including game assignments, monitoring responsibilities and product-release support.
  • Analyze platform performance and issues using tools such as New Relic, Grafana, Bitmovin, Amplitude and Postman.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Content and Media Technology teams to identify recurring issues, improve processes and coordinate bug triage.
  • Serve as the day-to-day operational lead during evening and weekend coverage.

Required Experience:
  • 3–5 years of experience in digital operations, streaming, digital product support or live-event operations, ideally supporting consumer-facing platforms.
  • Strong incident-management experience with Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with APIs/SDKs, CI/CD environments, identity platforms such as Okta/Ping/Akamai, and CDNs such as Akamai or CloudFront.
  • Experience supporting iOS, Android, web browsers and connected-TV/device platforms across production and QA environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication and leadership skills with the ability to remain composed during high-impact live incidents.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
